A thrilling line-up of shows is going on sale at Norwich Theatre this month. Whether you’re looking for a powerful drama, a comedy fan ready for side-splitting laughter, a fan of classic tales, or simply looking to try something new, there is something for everyone this month.

Today [24 Jun] is also the day that Hamilton (16 Sep—24 Oct 25) priority booking opens for Ambassadors, Gold Friends, and Corporate Members. Friends’ priority access opens a week later on Monday, 1 Jul, and the general public on sale opens on 12 Jul.

Heading to Norwich Theatre Royal for the first time is the spectacular War Horse (28 Oct – 8 Nov 25). This powerfully moving and imaginative drama is a show of phenomenal inventiveness, filled with stirring music and songs, and featuring ground-breaking puppetry work. It tells the story of a young boy called Albert and his horse, Joey, set against the backdrop of the First World War.

Music fans at the ready as That’ll Be The Day (30 Mar 25) comes to town. For one night only at Norwich Theatre Royal will be a spectacular journey through music history from the 50s to the 80s, with electrifying performances and iconic tunes.

Nina Conti (and Monkey) are back on tour, heading to Norwich Theatre Royal (19 Jan 25), hijacking faces to spark a bold, hysterical reality warp. The laughter doesn’t stop there with Sophie Duker (4 Oct 24), Zoe Lyons (23 Feb 25), Andy Zaltzman (1 Mar 25), Spencer Jones (6 Mar 25), Luke Wright (25 Apr 25) and Alex Mitchell (10 May 25) all at Norwich Theatre Playhouse.

Literary lovers also need to head to Norwich Theatre Playhouse, where two dark and brooding performances are taking place. Set in the murky Dark Ages, Shakespeare’s Macbeth (20 – 23 Jan 25) is where love, politics and witchcraft collide. Bram Stoker’s timeless gothic thriller Dracula (13 – 15 Feb 25) is transformed for the stage for an exhilarating theatrical experience.

Stalwart of Whose Line Is It Anyway Tony Slattery (25 Jan 25) makes his way to Norwich Theatre Stage Two, where he will discuss his career highs and lows and, together with his improv accomplice James Payton and their troupe of friends – will turn your brilliant suggestions into unforgettable never-to-be-repeated improvised comedy. Also, at Stage Two you can become a delivery agent with My Cleverly’s Transcontinental Delivery Service (2 Nov 24), a playfully visual and hugely silly live audio adventure told via wireless. Justin Moorhouse’s (13 Apr 25) makes a poignant exploration of comedy intertwined with the essence of life’s ups and downs.
