Join us for One Singular Sensation this summer!

Threshold Theatre Company is proud to present the legendary Broadway musical, A Chorus Line.

One of the longest running musicals in New York theatre history, this stunner of a show examines one day in the lives of a group of dancers, all vying for a spot in the “chorus line” of a Broadway musical – 17 performers will be put through their paces and only eight will make the cut. But the audition takes an unexpected turn as the director invites the auditionees to open up about their lives and what brought them into theatre.

With a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Edward Kleban, A Chorus Line features iconic songs including One, I Hope I Get It, Nothing and the hit ballad What I Did For Love.  Add in thrilling choreography, heart-wrenching personal stories and an unforgettable finale, this show is one you mustn’t miss.

Threshold Theatre Company was launched in 1995 to provide a training ground for its parent company, the Norfolk & Norwich Operatic Society. Since then, they have been awarded a number of nominations and awards for their high-quality productions, including the NODA Shield for Best Overall Production in the District for both ‘The Hired Man‘ and ‘Hot Mikado’. More recently, Threshold have sold-out the Playhouse with gems such as ‘Avenue Q’, ‘Spamalot’ and the Christmas smash-hit, ‘Elf! The Musical’.
