For nearly 20 years, Alex McAleer has studied people and perfected the art of knowing what’s going on inside their heads. He isn’t claiming to be psychic. Though after a few minutes in a room with him, you might start to wonder.
In Reads the Room, Alex explores connection and the remarkable ways we understand one another, often without saying a word.
Through expert people-reading, psychological illusion and a playful sense of mischief, Alex turns every audience into a live social experiment. Thoughts are uncovered, decisions are predicted, and complete strangers find themselves revealing far more than they intended.
No two performances are ever the same. Every show is shaped by the people in the room, creating an experience that’s funny, surprising, and impossible to forget.
