Norwich is a city filled with stories. Join our community of Citizen Theatre Makers this summer to create a bold new production in partnership with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Citizen Theatre Makers: Stories in Motion
A movement group exploring what happens when culture, tradition, and dance are woven together. From rhythmic footwork and body patterns to expressing emotions with gestures from head to toe, you’ll discover new ways to tell a story. No experience required—just a willingness to explore and create!
As part of an ensemble, you’ll be inspired by Hamlet, one of Shakespeare’s most renowned plays, and bring the stories of our city to life through movement, song, written and spoken word.
Shakespeare is for everyone, everyone is welcome.
Citizen Theatre Maker groups are free to attend but due to limited capacity, please select only one group to join at this stage.
This project is free to access for anyone over 18, in partnership with the Royal Shakespeare Company, supported by Esmee Fairbairn and Arts Council England
