Erik’s life has fallen apart since his dad died. Money is tight, his baby sisters demand all his Mum’s attention, and concentrating on homework feels impossible.
As he turns away from school and friends, Erik’s bad behaviour attracts the wrong crowd. He’s excited by hanging with a new crew and what seems like easy money for trainers and a phone. But Erik is quickly sucked in to a dark world of drug-dealing, violence and lies, risking not just his own safety, but that of his whole family.
Crossing the Line is a powerful drama, inspired by a true story. Adapted from Tia Fisher’s award-winning verse novel and devised with input from young people, it explores the devastating impact of county lines and the strength that can be found in the face of it.
