What is it?

Second to the right and straight on till morning!

Join Norwich Theatre for a fun and imaginative Home Education workshop inspired by our 2026 pantomime, The All New Adventures of Peter Pan. Through drama games, storytelling, movement, and creative theatre activities, participants will explore the magical world of Neverland while developing their own ideas and characters.

This workshop offers a chance to experience theatre-making in a friendly, supportive environment and discover how a professional production comes to life both on and off the stage.

What will I get from taking part?

Participants will:

  • Build confidence and communication skills
  • Develop creativity and imagination through drama-based activities
  • Explore storytelling, character creation, and performance techniques
  • Meet and collaborate with other home-educated young people
  • Gain insight into the world of professional theatre
  • Have the opportunity to share creative ideas in a relaxed and supportive setting

The workshop focuses on participation, creativity, and enjoyment rather than performance experience.

Who will be leading the project?

The session will be led by Norwich Theatre’s experienced Creative Learning team and professional theatre practitioners, who have extensive experience working with young people and creating inclusive, engaging arts experiences.

Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?

Not at all.

This workshop is open to all young people with an interest in creativity, storytelling, theatre, or simply trying something new. No previous drama, dance, or performance experience is required.

Activities will be adapted to suit different confidence levels, and participants are encouraged to take part in ways that feel comfortable for them.

Make theatre, no matter your budget!

We are committed to making our Home Education programme as accessible as possible. If cost is a barrier to participation, please get in touch with the Creative Learning team to discuss available options and support.

I have additional needs. What support is available?

Norwich Theatre is committed to creating welcoming and inclusive experiences for all participants.

We understand that every young person engages differently, and we are happy to discuss any adjustments that may help your child take part comfortably. This may include information about the session environment, sensory considerations, rest breaks, or support for communication and participation.

If you have any questions, or comments on how we can adapt the session to suit your needs, please get in touch:
