As part of Creative Matters: The Shape of Family, Norwich Theatre is proud to partner with Nelson’s Journey for this free workshop on bereavement in children and young people. This session is for adults only.

This information session and workshop facilitated by Nelson’s Journey’s specialist Child Bereavement Support Workers will explore what grief looks like, how to communicate with grieving children, and strategies to support expression of feelings and emotions.

“Since 1997, Nelson’s Journey has supported children and young people in Norfolk following the death of a significant person. The charity’s Child Bereavement Support Workers provide opportunities for young people to talk about their grief, meet others in similar situations, and learn coping strategies. A range of services are delivered in response to the needs of each young person, including: 1:1 support sessions, structured group activities, telephone support line, an early support service, free online resources, and support for schools.”
