‘I give it (grandfather’s watch) to you not that you may remember time, but that you might forget it now and then for a moment and not spend all your breath trying to conquer it.’ William Faulkner, The Sound and the Fury
Celebrating over 13 years of working together, the critically acclaimed team behind the making of the international hits The Nature of Forgetting and BIRTH opens up their precious notebooks and share how their magic works. Weaving Katherine Graham, Guillaume Pigé and Alex Judd’s personal stories of becoming parents and reaching mid-life with theatrical imagination, they unpick their creative bond, re-evaluate success and make a new show exploring time, fatherhood and grief.
Ultimately, Moments is about attentiveness to; magic in the making of new work; poetry in our everyday; moment-by-moment existence; life as we live it.
‘Theatre Re excels at transforming small, intimate stories into whirling, viscerally physical extravagance.’
