‘Take Flight’ this Spring with New Adventures!
In March, New Adventures is touring its pioneering production of Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake to Norwich. Alongside the show, New Adventures are working with theatres across the UK to offer a range of free dance activities and experiences for young people inspired by Swan Lake.
If you love this taster, you are invited to join New Adventures for a Take Flight Day (20, 22 Mar) including a certificate, water bottle and 2 tickets to see Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake on stage!
What is it?
New Adventures Regional Dance Ambassador Sophie Utting will be leading the 1-hour workshop. You will warm up, play some games and then learn a section of dance material from Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake. This workshop is for everyone, there’s nothing to be nervous about – the main focus is having fun!
What will I get from taking part?
Learn from a professional dancer, and get the chance to try some of Matthew Bourne’s iconic choreography, in an accessible and fun way!
Who is leading the project?
Take Flight is led by New Adventures Regional Dance Ambassador, Sophie Utting.
