Join the SAD BOOK creative team and invited guests for two accompanying workshops that help us explore further how creativity and movement can offer unique pathways into the challenging subject matter of loss.
Each workshop can be taken separately or register for both to learn more about the empowering relationship between text and movement.
Dance and Creative Movement Workshop
Working with the award winning SAD BOOK by Michael Rosen, choreographer and director Andrea Walker used the poignant and heartfelt text of the story to create an imaginative and captivating world through movement. How can our own stories and experiences shape the way we move? How can dance and choreography help us express powerful emotions in unique ways? Andrea leads the way in this friendly workshop as we explore these themes together.
Dancers of all experience levels welcome.
Come and see the show!
Sad Book will be on at the Playhouse on the 14 – 15 Mar – tickets and info available here:
