Select a performance
Join us for an engaging creative writing workshop led by poet and father Dr Ashley Hickson-Lovence, designed especially for dads who want to explore their experiences with honesty—and have a bit of fun along the way.
The inner lives of fathers are rarely explored — this is a chance to reflect on life, swap laughs, and get creative in a relaxed, judgment-free space. Through playful writing prompts, open conversations and reflection, you’ll connect with other fathers and discover the power of putting your thoughts into words. No writing experience needed—just come as you are.
This workshop is open to anyone who identifies as a father.
Pens and paper will be provided.
Creative Matters: The Shape of Family
This year, Norwich Theatre is exploring The Shape of Family. Not the neatly packaged idea of family, but the messier, more complex, often-contradictory reality of what it means to be connected to others. Through performances, talks, exhibitions, and workshops, we’re inviting you to look at the ways family is changing, and the ways it’s stayed the same.
