Norwich Theatre has just announced the latest shows to go on sale this month, and you are going to want to clear your calendar immediately. Prepare for some comedy big hitters, a seriously spooky and kooky family, and Rapunzel doing it her own way. With this lineup, you are seriously spoilt for choice.

Going on sale this month at Norwich Theatre Royal are some of biggest names in comedy. Chris Ramsey (10 Sep 26) is peeling back the curtain on the stories too scandalous for his podcast. Ed Gamble (6 Mar 27) will harrumph about the stage in 2027. Romesh Ranganathan (17 Jan 27) offers a comedic “quick fix” guaranteed to brighten your year.

It just got funnier at Norwich Theatre Playhouse with an extra date added for Joe Tracini’s show Ten Things I Hate About Me (22 Jun 26). Also heading to the Playhouse are Henry Paker (9 Oct 26) and his pencil case, Rosie Holt (22 Nov 26) and her MP alter ego, Emma Doran (9 Mar 27) and Matt Bragg (1 Apr 27).

Local talent is taking over, with three local theatre companies with several shows included in this on sale. First up, Threshold Theatre Company’s Flashdance (2- 7 Jun 26) was so popular it sold out, and now they have added an extra date! If you’re looking for something a bit more mysterious and spooky, Sound Ideas is bringing The Addams Family to life from 30 Sep –4 Oct 2026. At Norwich Theatre Royal, NNOS presents Crazy For You (26 – 30 Jan 27). It’s a high-energy, romantic comedy musical following Bobby Child, a big-city banker who heads to Deadrock, Nevada, to shut down a theatre but ends up finding a whole lot more.

3 Migrant Women (4 & 5 Sep), a striking and intimate exploration of migration, memory, and the profound cost of leaving everything behind heads to Norwich Theatre Stage Two. Created and performed by the artists whose stories it tells, the production weaves together movement, song, and storytelling to illuminate the reality of crossing borders, both physical and emotional. 3 Migrant Women has been created from Being Migrant, a flagship project part of Norwich Theatre’s Theatre of Sanctuary programme.

Also at Norwich Theatre Stage Two, catch the powerful Chanar Revolt story Samaram (11–12 Sep), or get a front-row seat to raw creativity at Scratch Night (13 Sep), where local artists test out their newest ideas. For the families, Rapunzel(20 Sep) offers a bold, prince-free retelling of the classic tale, while comedy fans can grab tickets to an extra show from Michael Akadiri (26 Sep) as he grapples with his new “Uncle” status. Catholic guilt collides with unrepentant queerness in the sinful JEZUS! (6–7 Nov), and Dan Schreiber (14 Nov) invites you into a world of “nonsensibility” with an evening of the weirdest true stories you’ve ever heard.
