Rob Rouse: Funny Bones | 11 Apr
Funny Bones is Rob’s brand-new stand-up show: a relentlessly funny and daft evening of comedy, from a one-man whirlwind who pulls the audience into his craftily spun tall tales with bucketfuls of manic energy, first-class stagecraft, eerily convincing characters, and a barrage of brilliant one-liners.
Why we recommend: If you love high-energy storytelling mixed with one-liners, this is the show for you!
Bennett Aaron: I REGRET THIS ALREADY | 12 Apr
You know what it’s like when everything’s going well? Bennett doesn’t. He was in the Top Ten Jokes of The Fringe, and he’s BAFTA shortlisted, yet life still laughs at him. Following his success at the Edinburgh Fringe, the Welsh comedian, who supported Ricky Gervais on tour and starred in all four series of the Radio 4 sitcom ALONE, brings his critically acclaimed show to the Norwich Theatre.
Why we recommend: It’s relatable, self-deprecating comedy at its absolute finest.
Blubber | 25 Apr
At first, Katie and Body were best friends. In the beginning, Katie and Body were infinite with possibilities…Katie’s taken up synchronised swimming. She’s buoyant and beautiful, but it’s a lot harder than they thought. When the promise of campy fun and liberation fails to materialise, Katie feels further from her body than ever before.
Why we recommend: A powerful exploration of the relationship all of us have with our bodies.

SMOKE and you are loved | 9 May
Alex wakes one morning to a new message on Insta from his boyfriend Ben. But Ben died two years ago. What appears to be an everyday hack soon turns into something else as Alex’s life spirals out of control. Mitch Benn: The Leher Effect | 14 Jun
When, years ago, a teenage Mitch discovered American comic songwriting legend Tom Lehrer, the course of his life was changed forever. Mitch looks at the legacy of the elusive Lehrer; the creative debt that he and all those who mix humour and melody owe to him; and performs some of the more Lehreresque of his own songs.
Why we recommend: A brilliant collision of comedy and music, whether you’re a lifelong Tom Lehrer fan or just love clever, satirical songwriting.
