ART//TECH//PLAY:LIVE
This event is in the past
Artists and creatives, join us to consider what the future of live performance looks like, and how the audience experiences it. Through the use of video game engines and XR Technologies, we’ll explore the possibilities of hybrid performances that intersect physical and digital spaces. We’ll look at work that can exist on multiple platforms at once, and how these platforms can interact with one another.
Hear from exciting artists and companies who are at the heart of making this kind of work. Find out how they made it, and discover how you might incorporate this kind of approach into your own creative practice.
Ben Samuels //
Ben Samuels is Artistic Director of Limbik Theatre. Limbik makes theatre and live experiences that exist in physical and digital space. Ben will introduce some of the works that have been pivotal in developing Limbik’s cross platform style, and what the challenges and successes have been when introducing immersive technology as part of a live performance.
