Boys Movement Company - Panto Masterclass
This event is in the past
Norwich Theatre’s Boys Movement Company is a dynamic group, for boys aged 11-18. A bold and diverse in-house company, exploring the wide-ranging styles of dance, choreography and movement from around the world.
What is it?
This session is a unique, one-off masterclass with the director and choreographer of our in-house production, Aladdin, A Geni-us Norfolk Adventure!
This introduction to our ongoing Boys Movement Company programme will give you a chance to learn from professional theatre makers as they take a break from rehearsing the region’s biggest pantomime.
What will I get from taking part?
In this fast-paced one-hour session, you will have the chance to talk to the Aladdin creative team, while learning some moves and techniques from the show. This session feeds into the new term of Boys Movement Company, which will begin in January.
Who will be leading the project?
Boys Movement Company lead-practitioner Ben Nash, and guest practitioner Chris Cuming (director of Aladdin).
Do I need experience to take part?
You need no prior dance experience to take part, but a passion for theatre, movement and creativity is encouraged!
I’m not sure I can afford to take part.
If cost is a barrier to taking part, we have bursary spaces available. To find out if you are eligible go to https://norwichtheatre.org/my-theatre/
I have additional needs. What support is available?
