Glorious Forms
06 Apr 16:30
A joyful afternoon of original dance created by Norwich companies, followed by an optional audience workshop, accessible to all.
Inclusive community dance companies Dance Moves You and In Cahoots invite you to join them for a sharing of their latest work that celebrates dancing bodies in all their glorious forms.
Following the performance there will be tea and cake, and the option to stay for an informal workshop. No experience of dancing is necessary. This workshop will give you an insight into how the companies work, a chance to learn some choreography and experience the joys that moving together can bring.
Dance Moves You is an inclusive company for adult independent movers with learning disabilities. The theme of the work they create reflects the lives, interests and uniqueness of the dancers themselves.
In Cahoots is a company that celebrates the possibilities that come from dancers with and without disabilities dancing together.
Glorious Forms is a project that aspires to recognise, platform and make accessible inclusive dance in Norwich and Norfolk, and is supported by the partnership of Norwich Theatre, and funding from Arts Council England.
