IKIGAI – A Dance and Musical Theatre Celebration of Purpose and Passion
Join us for IKIGAI, a vibrant and inspiring showcase presented by the talented students of the Anglia Region Theatre School (ARTS). Derived from the Japanese concept meaning “a reason for being,” IKIGAI explores the passions, strengths, and unique spark that make life truly meaningful. Through a dynamic mix of dance and musical theatre, this heartwarming production brings to life the journeys of self-discovery, joy, and purpose.
Featuring performers aged 3 to 21, the show celebrates a wide range of styles—from energetic jazz and soulful contemporary, show-stopping musical theatre numbers to rhythmic tap and beyond. With music that spans genres and generations, IKIGAI promises an evening of entertainment for the whole family.
Let us take you on a journey of movement, music, and meaning in this unforgettable celebration of what it means to truly live.
