Page to Stage
22 Jan 14:00
What is it?
This project will take a draft script, written during a past project, and explore the transition from Page to Stage. Early workshops will look at scene work, building tension and streamlining pacing to ensure the final draft captures the essence of the story being told. Promoting the shared responsibility of working together, the group will find ways to develop creative visions.
Sessions will be fun, accessible and collaborative. A platform to explore and discover how a creative ensemble thinks, feels and inspires.
What will I get from taking part?
- Friendly company & good conversation
- Increased confidence
- Acting skills – including voice, character analysis & movement
- Creating collaboratively
- The process of bringing a play to the stage
