RSC Nation celebrates International Women’s Day

Shakti:

A Bharatanatyam Celebration for International Women’s Day

Step into an evening where the stage ignites with the power of the divine feminine.

Shakti, the mother goddess and force that moves the universe, unfolds through the beauty of Bharatanatyam to honour the many faces of womanhood.

This evocative performance journeys through the human and the celestial: women as creators, warriors, nurturers, rebels, dreamers and goddesses.

Each gesture draws you into a story. As with Shakespeare, stories of courage, anticipation, joy, tenderness, transformation and myth intertwine, illuminating what it means to be female in body, in spirit and all the spaces between.

Join us for an evening where traditional art form meets contemporary resonance and the divine feminine rises timeless and powerful.

Choreographed by Anne Tiburtius (pictured below) and danced by Natyapriya.
