Singing Puppets in Space
04 Mar 19:00
Prepare to embark on a fun-filled two-hour workshop with Open Door Theatre. You will be introduced to a cosmic venture with Space Hamlet, their new musical that takes the Bard’s iconic tale into a universe where space Vikings, glam rock stars and puppetry collide among the stars. A mashup of Hamlet, Star Wars and Jim Henson!
An introduction into the vision and craftsmanship of working with extraordinary puppets, this is a unique chance to meet some up close and get hands on with bringing them to life.
This workshop is part of our continued partnership with the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Shakespeare Nation programme.
Led by April Nash, Space Hamlet director, and supported by company/production puppeteers.
