What is it?
You are invited to taste what our Contemporary Freedom of Movement project is all about. A great opportunity to begin to explore physical theatre and engage with your unique creative self.

What will I get from taking part?

  • Meet the creative practitioner
  • The chance to ask questions about this new Theatre Makers project


Who will be leading the project?
Sophie Utting has worked with various national and international companies and is Artistic Director of physical theatre company, Vatic Theatre. Choreographer and performer, her work encourages reflection and hopes to inspire social change. Trained in theatre, dance and movement, Sophie has a particular interest in exploring the interplay between text, voice and physicality, and how this can allow for more powerful expression than words alone.

Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?
No, anyone age 18+ is welcome and will be supported.

I’m not sure I can afford to take part.

Activities are dependent on minimum numbers participating, in the event that we need to cancel due to low participant numbers, a full refund will be given. We are unable to offer refunds in other circumstances.
