Join us for a joyous celebration as The African Choir of Norfolk marks its 5th anniversary with a landmark gala performance at Norwich Playhouse. A beloved highlight of the Autumn Festival calendar, this Signature Project returns with a vibrant new repertoire, stunning costumes, and the promise of an unforgettable evening.
Founded by producers Stash Kirkbride and Peter Barrow and directed by the inspirational Anna Mudeka, the choir has become a beacon of unity, kinship and cultural pride. What began as a vision has grown into a powerful musical movement rooted in friendship, community and a deep connection to African heritage.
Expect an evening filled with rhythm, harmony, and heart.
