Theatre Makers: Being Migrant
This event is in the past
As a theatre of sanctuary we have a responsibility to create a safe environment for all members of our community to come together and champion creative voices from all backgrounds.
BEING MIGRANT is an opportunity for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers to engage creatively and connect with other communities. A support network giving you a space to feel valued, visible and heard. No experience is necessary.
Join a community bound by shared understanding and explore your creative identity. Leading with physical theatre, this project offers a platform for diverse theatrical languages to be shared and celebrated. For long-travelled stories to inspire and influence understanding, compassion and change. A kind, supportive, inclusive group of new theatre-makers exchanging global theatre traditions and cultures.
