Introducing a unique opportunity to work towards a new 10-minute piece of theatre that will be performed at a Norwich Theatre launch event. This work will look specifically at ageing creatively.

Our Theatre Makers project invites you to:

  • Empower yourself as a creative
  • Challenge ageism
  • Work collaboratively
  • Learn new skills & increase confidence

Including:

  • A practical and welcoming workshop with Eastern Angles, in association with UEA, exploring through performance, movement, storytelling and creative play.
  • A unique workshop opportunity to learn from a world-class dance company, Sao Paulo Dance Company.

This 8-week project offers a safe space to explore creatively, share conversation and be an active contributor to cultural life. As part of the ensemble, whether you are experienced or a beginner, you will be both encouraged and challenged. All you need is a willingness to explore bold theatre.

Please wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes suitable for movement.

The project begins with a workshop with the São Paulo Dance Company called Moving Together. This workshop offers a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to work with Brazil’s leading dance company, renowned for their dynamic repertoire and visually breath taking performances, driven by a powerful Latin pulse.

Activities are dependent on minimum numbers participating, in the event that we need to cancel due to low participant numbers, a full refund will be given. We are unable to offer refunds in other circumstances.

We work hard to ensure best practise and the safety of all who attend our activities. To do this we have a number of policies and procedures in place to support our participants and visitors.
