Romeo and Juliet – Varna International Ballet | Norwich Theatre Royal | 17 Feb 

We couldn’t resist being inspired by the most famous lovers of all—Romeo and Juliet! Treat that special someone to Shakespeare’s tale of passion and tragedy in this beautiful ballet. Prokofiev’s soaring score brings it to life, set in bustling Renaissance Verona, with an emotionally charged choreography that befits the world’s greatest love story. 

Joey Page: Nice One | Norwich Theatre Stage Two | 17 Feb 

For the couple that likes to make fun of each other and belly laugh until you can’t breathe. Why not see a comedy for a Valentine’s gift? Joey Page, aka the Best British Comedian you’ve never heard of, is a working-class motor mouth, figuring out his place in the modern world through a series of awkward conversations that constantly burst his bubble.  

Lieven Scheire: Artificial Intelligence | Norwich Theatre Playhouse | 18 Feb 

For the nerdy couple. You know who you are! Check out Lieven Scheire: Artificial Intelligence. What exactly is Artificial Intelligence? Will it be taking over the world? Would you personally be willing to obey an A.I. system?  All questions will be answered in this show by comedian, presenter and physicist Lieven Scheire. With a mix of science and laughs, you won’t feel left out. 

Lay Down Your Burdens | Norwich Theatre Royal | 28 – 29 Mar 

For the couple that likes to try something new, this show wants you to join them on the Norwich Theatre Royal stage and take part! Olivier Award-nominated Lay Down Your Burdens is set in a pub with live music, riotous games, and a radically tender dance that invites you to explore the beauty of humanity and the eternal need for community and compassion.   

All ticket holders are invited to attend a free workshop the night before the show.   

Hold On To Your Butts | Norwich Theatre Playhouse | 30 Mar – 1 Apr  

If your better half is a dino fan or cannot resist the Jurassic Park franchise, treat them to Hold On To Your Butts. This is a “shot-for-shot” parody of the greatest dinosaur film of all time.  This is a wildly inventive tour-de-force of comedy, Foley sound, and physical theatre coming to Norwich Theatre Playhouse. Maybe follow it with a candlelit drink at the playhouse bar? 

Picture You Dead | Norwich Theatre Royal | 1 – 5 Apr 

Book lovers have to catch this brand-new stage adaptation of Peter James’ bestselling novel Picture You Dead. Back home in Brighton, DSI Grace investigates a cold case that leads him to the secretive world of fine art, but beneath the respectable veneer lurks a dark underworld of deception and murder. 

Make the night extra special with a trip to our in-house restaurant prelude. 

Ghost Stories | Norwich Theatre Royal | 15 – 19 Apr 

Horror fans can get their fix with this ultimate love letter to the genre. Enter a world full of thrilling twists and epic turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. When Professor Goodman, an arch-sceptic out to debunk the paranormal, embarks on an investigation of three apparent hauntings, Goodman finds himself at the outer limits of rationality and fast running out of explanations. 

Scaredy cats need not apply!   

Kiell Smith Bynoe & Friends: Kool Story Bro | Norwich Theatre Playhouse | 18 Apr 

Be a part of the action with an improvised comedy show made up of what you say! Kiell Smith-Bynoe, star of Taskmaster, Ghosts and The Great British Sewing Bee, and his band of merry comedians will create a unique and utterly ridiculous show from scratch.

What’s more, as a registered charity, your donation will help us provide creative experiences for everyone. Name a seat with a donation of just £300 and personalise your plaque with your own special message. Your plaque will remain in place for a minimum of 10 years. You can visit your seat for a photo opportunity and receive a digital certificate for yourself or as a gift.
