Norwich Theatre announces a day packed full of pride activities for a fabulous celebration for Norwich Pride on Saturday, 25 July. From an exclusive musical-themed drag brunch to a free afternoon of live acts for the whole family before and after the Norwich Pride march

To start the day off right in the most fabulous way possible, join Stealia Jobs and The Duke for a Pride Drag brunch in Prelude with a musical-themed brunch. Dishes include a full English, delicious creamy mushrooms and spinach on toasted focaccia and a poached egg, or coconut & spiced pineapple French toast.

From 12 noon, the party moves to Norwich Theatre Royal’s Long Bar for an afternoon of free acts. Expect performances from Stealia JobsEllBlakewell Tart, Destiny CollinAustin TismLady SylvaBeau K, ConstellateThe Duke, Titianna MarieMia Mann and Kylie M’Hoe.

The bar will serve an amazing array of Pride-themed cocktails and mocktails. The Café Royal will open all day, serving hot and cold drinks and pride-inspired treats, which are also available to take away.

Norwich Theatre Royal’s balconies provide the perfect spot to watch the march, which kicks off at 1pm from City Hall. The balcony near the Octagon Lounge will be available for anyone with access needs to view the march.

Speaking about the events, Stealia Jobs said: “I can’t wait to get the party started at Norwich Theatre Royal. The Duke and I are fresh from a journey through Oz and fuelled by enough energy to Defy Gravity, we’re bringing a little Broadway to brunch! With the confidence of the Dreamgirls, the chaos of a few Cats after midnight, and vocals that make you say Mamma Mia! we’re ready to give you show tunes, silliness and showstopping entertainment. So, get a mimosa and join us for a whole lot of showstopping fun!”

For those looking for a change of pace, the celebrations extend across the river. Norwich Theatre Playhouse will offer a quieter safe space throughout the day, inviting visitors to step out of the chaos and chill with a drink in its vibrant riverside garden. The venue will also keep the celebrations going later in the summer, hosting a highly anticipated Drag Bingo night on Saturday 15th August with Will Power and Knuckle Sandwich.
