Get your dancing shoes on with a whole array of movement-based workshops. From the elegant Ballet for over 50s (10 Jan – 28 Mar) to the dynamic Dance Lab (15 Jan – 26 Mar) focusing on enhancing your musicality and choreography skills, there’s something for everyone.
Be immersed in the captivating world of Bharatanatyam dance with Freedom of Movement: Bharatanatyam (9 Jan – 6 Mar), where participants will craft a short piece using elements of this classical dance form like storytelling, rhythm, music, and emotion.
For boys seeking a fresh challenge in 2025, The Boys Movement Company (15 Jan – 26 Mar) offers an exciting opportunity. This group, tailored for boys aged 11-18, explores a diverse range of styles and provides access to professional companies visiting Norwich Theatre.
Take a moment to Unwind with Movement (16 Jan – 27 Mar), a soothing and accessible practice to help you connect mind and body, enhancing overall well-being and reducing stress.
Explore new avenues of self-expression with Wise, Bold, Visible Woman (10 Jan – 7 Mar), a project spanning eight sessions where you’ll delve into storytelling through image-making, script development, green screen filming, video-projection, and performance skills, culminating in an exhibition on International Women’s Day.
Be pitch perfect with the New Voices Choir (14 Jan – 25 Mar). During the workshop, you will learn new vocal exercises and technique while singing a vibrant collection of songs each week. Theatre Cares – A Life in Music (17 Jan – 17 Apr) are free sessions that bring together individuals with mild to moderate dementia and their carers/partners for sessions singing songs and playing instruments.
Your little ones won’t miss out with Sing Dance Play (17 Jan – 28 Mar). Designed for you and your baby/ toddler to have fun and move together, using a range of musical instruments and multi-sensory props. During the February half term come along to Imagination Fuel (17 – 21 Feb) free sessions for you and your little one to get creative together with play and creative activities. At the end of these sessions children will be provided with lunch of tasty sandwiches from our restaurant, Prelude.
