Courage in Community

UEA University of Sanctuary

www.ueasanctuary.org

A photography project exploring what courage means to the UEA University of Sanctuary community members. The photography will be exhibited at both the Norwich Theatre and Enterprise Centre.

Photograph details: A New Morning – “To me, courage is waking up in a new country and getting ready for school, even when everything feels unfamiliar. It is choosing hope, choosing learning, and believing in a future where no one has to leave home just to be safe.”

This exhibition has been programmed as part of Refugee Week 2026. We became a theatre of sanctuary in 2020 and we are committed to creating a safe environment for all members of our community to come together and champion creative voices from all backgrounds.
