What is it?
The Creative Café is a city-based hub of curiosity, creativity and friendship for people over 65. The group meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at Norwich Playhouse.

What will I get from taking part?
Each month, an expert creative practitioner will guide the group though an accessible introduction to a variety of creative topics such as creative writing, movement, music, crafting and many more.

By joining the group, you will have the chance to try your hand and be inspired by a wide range of creative activities in a relaxed setting.

January’s sessions will focus on Movement with Xen Arts. This will be followed by Script Work with Poppy Stevens in February and Poetry with Helen Vine in March.

Who is leading the project?
Each month’s activity is led by a new expert practitioner, a specialist in their creative field.

Do I need experience to take part?
No previous experience is required.

I need support to take part.
All activities are accessible, and can be enjoyed seated or standing. If you have accessibility requirements of any kind, get in touch to discuss how best we can support your place on the programme.

I’m not sure I can afford to take part.
If cost is a barrier to taking part, you may be eligible for one of our bursary places available. To find out if you are eligible go to https://norwichtheatre.org/my-theatre/
