IMG Artists, in partnership with the leading concert venues in the UK, is thrilled to announce a major tour featuring the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine.

The UK 2023 tour will be the orchestra’s biggest UK tour to date, and the first time they have toured the UK in 22 years, after last playing here in May 2001.

The National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine has long been one of the most distinguished European orchestras and has achieved world-wide recognition through its many international tours, which include Australia, the US, Europe and Asia.

Their visit to the UK in Autumn 2023 is a particularly important cultural event, following the tragic invasion of Ukraine by Russia and ongoing war.

There has been tremendous support given to the people of Ukraine militarily, politically and culturally since the invasion began but, with hostilities expected to continue for some time, it is vital that we continue to support the rich, musical culture of Ukraine. We hope that classical music lovers up and down the UK will come to these highly significant concerts.

The orchestra will be conducted by their music director Volodymyr Sirenko and the soloists on the tour will be two of the most distinguished young Ukrainian musicians performing on the international stage today – the violinist Oleksii Semenenko and the pianist Antonii Baryshevskyi.

The tour is also fundraising via a justgiving page to support the NSOU and the continuation of Ukraine’s rich musical culture during the current conflict.
