Norwich Theatre has just announced the latest shows to go on sale this month, and they are just too hard to resist! Expect sensational musicals, dazzling dance, a naturalist and some super scientific shows.

Get ready for some sunshine as Annie (2- 7 Feb 27) heads to Norwich Theatre Royal. Set in 1930s New York during The Great Depression, brave young Annie is forced to live a life of misery and torment at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage. Her luck soon changes when she’s chosen to spend a fairytale Christmas with famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. Meanwhile, spiteful Miss Hannigan has other ideas and hatches a plan to spoil Annie’s search for her true family. With its Tony® award-winning book and score, including the unforgettable songs It’s The Hard-Knock Life, Easy Street, I Don’t Need Anything But You and Tomorrow, you can bet your bottom dollar that you’ll love it!

Want more of a musical fix? Then Jersey Boys (30 Mar – 3 Apr 27) is perfect. Go behind the music and inside the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in the true-life musical phenomenon. From the streets of New Jersey to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, this is the musical that’s too good to be true. The show features all their hits, including Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Beggin’, Oh What a Night and more.

Powerhouse talent Beverley Knight (Sister Act, The Drifters Girl, Memphis The Musical) reprises her Olivier award-winning role as Emmeline Pankhurst in Sylvia (27 – 31 Oct 26). Don’t miss this revolutionary, uplifting musical, fuelled by an irresistible soundtrack that joyously unites hip-hop, funk, and soul.

Wildlife presenter Chris Packham heads to Norwich Theatre Royal (15 Nov 26) where he will share an encyclopaedia of stories from a childhood bedroom bursting with feathers, skulls and jam jars full of tadpoles to the wild adventures that shaped his love of nature, and the practical things we can all do in our daily lives to make a difference. If history is more your thing, Mary Beard (1 Nov 26) will be taking to the Royal stage to share the secret histories of Ancient Rome.

Be captivated by Matthew Bourne’s The Car Man (29 Sep – 3 Oct 26). Loosely based on Bizet’s ever-popular opera, The Car Man has one of the most thrilling and instantly recognisable scores in New Adventures’ repertoire. For more dance, grab a ticket to This is Rambert (14 – 15 Jul 26). The centenary show brings together bold, high-impact works from (LA)HORDE, Emma Evelein, and a brand-new commission.
